Together We Can Make a Difference

The provincial based NGO, Siddhartha Social Development Center (SSDC-Kapilvastu) has a non-profit, non-political and non-religious social development organization working over the Lumbini province in Nepal. Young, energetic, change-seeking and enthusiastic youth came together to build its foundation and worked together to establish it as a social development organization in 1995, registering it with District Administration Office under Organization Registration Act 2034, and affiliating SSDC with Social Welfare Council (SWC) in 1996.

WE FOCUS ON

SSDC focuses on key thematic areas to drive inclusive and sustainable development. These include education and child rights, ensuring quality, equitable learning and protection; sustainable livelihoods, promoting income generation, food security, and economic resilience; health and sanitation, improving well-being and access to clean water; governance and human rights, strengthening accountability and participation; social justice and protection, addressing discrimination and safeguarding vulnerable groups; and organizational development, fostering capacity, learning, and rights-based program delivery.

The organization has supported of 5848 children in their education

Sustainable Livelihoods

Total of 2718 families have supported for the establishment of Income Generating Activities.

Promotion of Governance and Human Rights

Total of 5229 persons have supported the psychosocial service in all over the Lumbini province.
