Capacity Building of Police Personnel were
organized in the month of May, 2023. Police
personnel from Area Police Office and district Police
Office participated in capacity building training
organized in 3 convergent Palika i.e Krishnanagar,
Shivraj and Suddhodhan. Session started with sharing
of the child protection and GBV issues registered in
police offices, police interventions carried out to
identify CP and GBV issues. Sessions were delivered on Child protection, child rights, definition
of GBV, causes of GBV and its negative impact in individual, family and society. Cooperation
and coordination between police and community to identify and address the issues i.e child
marriage, GBV was one of focused training session. Impact of child marriage, early pregnancy
on life, role of police personnel in ending child marriage, legal provision against child marriage,
proper way to treat the GBV survivors and case management and referral mechanism were the
